Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using SkillForge ("the Service"), operated by RMC Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN pending), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
SkillForge converts YouTube video content into structured, reusable AI skills. The Service includes a web application, browser extension, ChatGPT integration, and API. Skills are generated using artificial intelligence and may not perfectly represent the original video content.
Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Subscriptions and Payments
SkillForge offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time via the billing dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense skills generated by the Service without attribution.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
Intellectual Property
Skills you forge from YouTube videos are derived works. The original video content remains the intellectual property of its creator. SkillForge does not claim ownership of the source content. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to use your forged skills. The SkillForge platform, branding, and software are owned by RMC Holdings Pty Ltd.
AI-Generated Content
Skills are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misinterpretations of the source material. SkillForge does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated skills. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any skill before relying on it.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RMC Holdings Pty Ltd and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms or is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
